The Green’s Ladies Golf Club welcomed more than 100 golfers, over 20 volunteers, and special guests to its 2026 Invitational on May 11 at Mountain View Golf Course in New Jersey. The day brought together golf, fellowship, service, and community impact while continuing the club’s proud tradition of making history since 1954.
A major highlight of the Invitational was the presentation of a $3,000 charitable donation to Covenant House Pennsylvania. The contribution will support the organization’s work with young people experiencing homelessness and reflects The Green’s Ladies’ commitment to strengthening the communities it serves.
Celebrating Women and Community Through Golf
The Invitational welcomed golfers with a wide range of experience and created opportunities to reconnect, build new relationships, and celebrate the growing community of women in golf.
The Green’s Ladies were especially pleased to welcome golfers from two fellow historic Black women’s golf clubs: Wake Robin Golf Club of Maryland and The Dufferettes of New Jersey. Their presence made the day even more meaningful and reflected the lasting legacy of Black women creating space, opportunity, and fellowship within the game.
The club also thanks First Tee Philadelphia and First Tee – Greater Trenton for sponsoring foursomes and helping more golfers participate in the Invitational. Guests also had the opportunity to connect with TC Unlimited Boutique, LNJ Collective, and First Tee – Greater Trenton at their event tables.

A Clubwide Effort
The Invitational’s success was made possible by the members and volunteers who worked behind the scenes. During the Saturday packing party before the event, Green’s Ladies members prepared raffle baskets, organized silent-auction items, and completed important event-day details.
The club extends special appreciation to 2026 Invitational Chair Lia Rogers for her leadership, vision, and dedication, along with the Invitational Committee, volunteers, Mountain View Golf Course staff, golfers, guests, donors, and supporters who helped create a memorable day.
The 2026 Invitational demonstrated what can happen when golf and community come together with purpose. The Green’s Ladies Golf Club looks forward to continuing its legacy of fellowship, service, and impact throughout the Delaware Valley and beyond.
