The Green’s Ladies Golf Club Celebrates 70 Years at 2024 Golf Invitational
West Deptford, NJ – May 26, 2024 – The Green’s Ladies Golf Club proudly announces its 2024 Golf Invitational, marking a significant milestone in the club’s history as it also celebrates its 70th Anniversary as an organization. On Sunday, May 26, 2024, golf enthusiasts will gather at Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club in West Deptford, NJ, to celebrate this historic occasion.
Established in 1954, The Green’s Ladies Golf Club holds the distinction of being the oldest African American women’s golf club in the Delaware Valley. This year’s event is not just a golf tournament; it’s a celebration of the club’s rich history, its passionate members, and the joy of the game. This year we will be donating to First Tee Philadelphia and the Phyllis G. Meekins Foundation (LPGA).
The 2024 Invitational will feature a 4-Person Scramble format, accommodating women’s, men’s, and mixed foursomes, with a participation limit of 72 players. The event will commence with a Shotgun Start at 8:30 AM, followed by a day filled with competitive golf and camaraderie.

This event is a testament to the vision and dedication of our founding members and a celebration of the vibrant community that continues to uphold our legacy.”
The golf package, priced at $195.00 for a single player and $780.00 for a foursome, includes a Continental Breakfast, Cocktail Hour, and Dinner. For those interested in joining the celebration but not participating in the golf tournament, Dinner Only tickets are available for $50.00, starting at 3:30 PM.
